404 not found ... actually you DID find it, but it is no longer active!

You've come all this way and you haven't found what you were looking for.

The reason is a simple one. The shadowy, faceless ones at "PPL" and "AIM" (whatever the hell those acronyms stand for) have complained bitterly to my hosts that I am INFRINGING their copyright by allowing some of the music, for which they supposedly hold the sole copyright, to be streamed on my site. It is apparently of no consequence that I own the CD's from which the tracks have been taken. And that by streaming the music that I might encourage my visitors to go out and buy the CD for themselves doesn't seem to be a valid enough justification for these morons. I shall certainly not be goading myself into a frenzy to buy any more CD's for a while. I don't see the point. Especially since I can't use them for MY pleasure!

I was given an ultimatum; remove the tracks or have my site suspended!

I really can't be bothered to check each post to find out where this 'OFFENSIVE' material appears, so I've done the next best thing and suspended all activity on the site - all by myself!!

I shall now re-think the value of retaining my domain name and should I decide it isn't worth the effort, I will also reconsider whether I shall continue to pay out for web hosting that has become unnecessary.
